Talk about esoteric. Day 19 of the LEGO Star Wars advent calendar is the sk x1 experimental air superiority fighter, or TIE striker for short. When I looked at the instructions at first I thought it was just the top half of Kylo Ren’s TIE fighter, but nope this a whole spaceship from an entirely different era. TIE strikers were used by the Empire in the battle of Scarif, so the last 20 minutes of Rogue One give or take. The pictures make it look like a cooler build than it actually was. As my father-in-law likes to say, “It don’t impress me.”
