If you want to be official, day 18 of the LEGO Star Wars advent calendar is a BTL-A4 Y-wing starfighter. Although you’d have to be a hardcore fan to know its model number. I’m guessing most casual fans don’t even realize there are other Y-wing variants. I admit that I never gave it much thought before today. If I saw a spaceship with this distinctive wishbone shape, then it was simply a Y-wing. That was good enough for me. This is a neat build. I would say I like it as much as Director Krennic’s imperial shuttle. Maybe more so, because it took a fraction of the time to assemble.
